You’re Hired; D.I.E. Again; Prelims

Okay I’ve no idea why I have a spike in the number of readers for the past weeks, hopefully they are not viewed by white men. Anyway, judging from the title, not only will you realise I will be talking about two dramas serials and a pre-national-exam exam; but also the position of the latter.

3 weeks – nothing

Okay, it’s just 20 days. And a week to go, the June holidays will be over. Hmm, I remember slacking throughout my holidays last year. And that year, I thought I was going to study for the Os. Well, dreams. Nothing constructive, I’m afraid I fared worse in planning than last year. I’m nervous that I’m not really nervous now. Off to sleep!

Ordinary Level Score

Today, I received a letter from the School. It was a projection of my L1R5. It was 14. It was based on the regression equation of the ’08 cohort, and my PSLE score. This school must have attained considerably well in its value-added award. Someone with 227 can graduate with 14 is, to me, good. However, to me, 14, is not good.

It was so depressing to hand in a script almost half empty, and realise that another 10 marks was gone. Rush, rush, rush.

The Last Day of Term 1

Term 1 started with an indescribable feeling. The less-than-200-odd-days to the fearful Os, yet the never-more-than-stronger class bond. Maturity sets in, capturing the best parts of the memoirs of the class. Back to myself.
